Lot 982
1876 Twenty Cents. NGC graded Proof 66 Cameo. A stunning rainbow toned Proof. Only 1260 Proofs minted. This gorgeous gem has the optimum, hand-picked quality for this date and denomination. The well hued surfaces show signs of mingled russet gold with gray-blue that has some sky blue iridescence in it. Agreeably well struck to say the least, expected for a Proof. The coin deserves special merit reference here! Pop 17; 4 finer.
Estimated Value $9,000 - 10,000.
